The denizens, beasts, and other beings found only in the World of Nyra.
The Eldest beings, higher born and superior to all other races, gifted with exquisite powers of craftsmanship. Direct descendants of the Eldrauhim who were at the formation of the world. Of the true Elderborne only one remains in Nyra, while their lesser kin resides in increasingly scarcer numbers. The last true Elderborne is rumored to reside atop the highest peaks of the world, watching its thrumming churn.
Abominations, horrors, and beasts that haunt the deepest, darkest recesses of the world. Primordial foes that would gladly swallow the world in their malice. Such beings abjure any good and long for the presence of the void — whether they flock to its call or summon it themselves. The eternal rivals of the Elderborne.
Feral and fierce beasts of the earth — birds and boars to goblins and gargoyles — the natural inhabitants of Nyra found in every nook and cranny. Great huntsmen and explorers tell tales of their varied and bizarre encounters. The Wilderborn appear countless in names and numbers; a new variety is uncovered each day.
Shaped in the distant image of the Eldrauhim, born as the true life-blood of Nyra. Town guardsmen, blacksmiths, aristocrats, and other denizens work within the grand design to pump the land’s pulse. Most are amicable — but they will defend themselves when threatened.
Cut-throats, lowlifes, and ne’er-do-wells — the dredges of society who work only for their own gain. From lowly bandits to deadly assassins, they make themselves at home in inns, dilapidated cities, and less reputable corners of civilization. Even the shadows of polished civilization leave plenty of room for their ill ambition.
